INVASOR

“Invasor” was an exceptional purebred Spanish horse with an impressive career in dressage, a field typically dominated by Warmbloods horses. Born in 1989 at Los Alburejos farm, he excelled in physical and mental strength, and his piaffe was among the world’s best. His performance earned a ’10’ from a Swedish judge.
Invasor began his training with Antonio Cid and later achieved greater success under Rafael Soto.

He was a multiple Spanish champion, with a standout year in 2004, and competed in three Olympics: Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, and Athens 2004. Notably, he won a team silver medal in Athens and various other international medals.

His achievements marked a new era for the PRE breed in dressage. After retiring in 2006, Invasor performed at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art and sired 30 offspring, solidifying his legacy as Spain’s most decorated horse and a key figure in promoting the PRE breed internationally. Invasor passed away in December 2013 at 24 years old.
