Malagueño is a bay Pure Spanish Breed (PRE) stallion, standing at 1.65 meters tall. Bred by Francisco Santiago Ruiz, he is highly regarded in the realms of Classical Dressage and Morphology. Recognized as a Young Recommended Breeder, Malagueño is among the top representatives of modern Classical Dressage in Spain. He is a two-time PRE World Champion in Classical Dressage at the Grand Prix level and the top finisher in the absolute Spanish Championship. He is the son of the elite stallion Joyero XXIV and Malagueña XXXIV, herself a daughter of the top-rated Dominante XVI.

Malagueño was born in 2010 at Francisco Santiago’s stud and has achieved significant success nationally and internationally under the rider José Daniel Martín Dockx. His accolades include being a two-time PRE World Champion in Classical Dressage (2022 and 2023) and winning the absolute Spanish Championship in 2023, both at the Grand Prix level, with scores above 80% in international dressage competitions. Recently, he has been preselected to represent Spain in Classical Dressage at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Malagueño is notable for his powerful athletic physique, great nobility, excellent work ethic, and superb movement. His descendants show great promise in sports, inheriting his athletic abilities.
