Molinero FS from Yeguada Arroyomonte made history in Spanish dressage by achieving the highest scores ever for the Spanish team at the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses, with an 8.20 in the 5-year-old preliminary and an 8.22 in the final. This championship, held in Ermelo, Netherlands, is the premier event for breeders of young dressage horses aged 5, 6, and 7 years.
Molinero FS, ridden by Alba Abollo and trained by Alberto García-Briñón, excelled with notable scores in trot (8.3), walk (8.2), canter (8.0), submission (8.5), and future potential (8.5).
Fidel Sáez, the breeder and owner of Yeguada Arroyomonte, sees this achievement as a recognition of his lifelong work in breeding purebred Spanish horses. The efforts of ANCCE (National Association of Purebred Spanish Horse Breeders), in partnership with the Royal Spanish Equestrian Federation and ANCADES (Association of Spanish Sport Horse Breeders), were also highlighted for their support of the Spanish team.
